"I don’t post reviews often but I’m definitely leaving one for Brums. I was in need of a new mechanic as the one I usually go to is starting to close its doors. And Brums was the first place I called. I have a 2014 Silverado and over the last few years I have owned it it’s always had a coolant smell. Figured it was time to get this taken care of. Brums was excellent and has great customer care. Scheduled an appointment with them for about a week later. Once they got it in they went through the entire vehicle and pointed out other things that prompted immediate concern or what could wait. Absolutely no pressure on any of those things either (it took me bringing it up). They truly have your best interest when working on your car. So turns out whoever did manifolds on my truck 2 years ago drilled the manifold holes a little too deep. Originally we all thought it was going to need a whole new cylinder head. Which I was prepared to do. But instead of immediately opting for the expensive repair, Brums offered that they try another option to stop the coolant leak that didn’t involve a new head before we go for the entire replacement. They were very upfront with me, they were confident it was going to work but they can’t guarantee it won’t need a new cylinder head if this repair doesn’t work. Thankfully, it ended up working and fully fixing the problem, and ended up costing me significantly less than what a new head would cost. Many other mechanics in the world wouldn’t have even tried other options and taken the money. Brums didn’t, like I said, they care about their customers. After that, I had them take care of all the other things that were immediate concerns. They were done very quickly and their work is top quality. They don’t mess around here. If you want your car worked on the right way with people who care about the owners of the vehicles, come here. Brums will now always have my business."
